Happy Earth Day!
Nature’s Eats Celebrates Earth Day 2013
We don’t claim to hold evidence of the first nut or fruit bore from the Earth but we would like to share with you a nutty dry fruit that has satisfied earthlings since 7,000 B.C.: Pistachios
Full of vitamins and minerals, pistachios remind us of our role in the delicate balance of life on Earth Day. Made up of minerals itself, the Earth produces three found in the pistachio – iron, magnesium, and calcium.
We desire our world to stay healthy and bountiful to guarantee the production of nuts and fruits for centuries to come. Speaking of centuries, pistachio trees take 8-10 years of cultivation before producing a major crop. But once established, pistachio trees bear fruit for centuries.
Combine sustainability with the nuts and fruits of our Earth and enjoy the natural goodness of Nature’s Eats as often and as guilt-free as you wish!
Come find us on the wooden racks in the H-E-B produce section.
