A question that is commonly asked when someone is looking to follow a raw food diet is: What is eaten on a raw food diet? The simple answer is raw organic natural foods. But how does one keep it fun, exciting, and satisfying when following a raw food diet? By finding raw organic natural foods that can be turned into raw food recipes like delicious pumpkin bread. Raw bread may sound slightly strange at first but rest assured that raw whole foods, when combined and prepared properly, can give cooked foods a run for their money.


  1. In a food processor with an S-blade place pumpkin and Nature's Eats Recipe for Date Paste, then process until well combined. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients (except the Nature's Eats Raisins) and pulse until combined. Be sure to not over-process.

  3. Remove the blade and add soaked raisins. Mix it all together with your hands. Divide into six pieces. Make into rectangular shapes about ¼” thick. Put them on parchment paper or dehydrator sheets. Add crushed Nature's Eats Walnuts on top.

  4. Place in a dehydrator for 2 hours at 140 degrees. Next, reduce to 115 degrees and dehydrate for 4 more hours. Be sure to flip the breads half way through. Also be sure the bread remains soft and does not become crunchy. Store in an airtight container.

  • This Pumpkin Raw Bread is so yummy! The walnuts and raisins make the bread taste almost like a muffin. The texture is very light and you can really taste the fresh pumpkin flavoring. Its sweetness allows it to be eaten just by itself.
